Jeunesse Global Brings Opportunities to the Disadvantaged

Jeunesse Global has taken the health and beauty industry by surprise. As one of the most successful startups anywhere in the world over the last decade, Jeunesse has gone from garage-based startup to international power player in the direct marketing of health and beauty products. The company is currently doing hundreds of millions of dollars in sales each year and has been valued at an estimated $1 billion.

However, Jeunesse had humble beginnings. Founders Randy Ray and Wendy Lewis had been building businesses since they graduated from college. Having built dozens of successful businesses in the health and beauty space, the couple had long been in a position of financial comfort. One of the regions on which they concentrated was East Asia. The couple had done a great deal of business there over the years and were acutely aware of the massive reserves of human capital that had never been able to reach its full potential as a result of being suppressed under the follies of communism. They knew that if they could base a direct marketing company around the best and the brightest talent in East Asia, they could quickly grow the company.

This is the model that has led to what Jeunesse Global is today: one of the fastest-growing and most successful direct marketing firms in the world.
