Their album Memories…Do Not Open has been number one on many charts since its release. However, it has stayed number one with Billboards Dance and Electronic charts for thirty weeks.
The Chainsmokers have since released a number of singles. These singles have done well on all charts like the album. Their greatest accomplishment so far as a music group is the album. Fans are going crazy at buying and downloading the Memories…Do Not Open album.
Their song Don’t Let Me Down became a top five single. The single also won a Grammy award for Best Dance Recording. A high honor for such a new group. The duo could not ask for better success with their album. The pair has also won two American Music Awards, and they have five iHeart Radio Music Awards to add to their accomplishments.
Pall and Bixler made up the made up the first duo of Chainsmokers. They were both DJs. Pall was introduced to Taggart when they became under new management. Their new manager Adam Alpert introduced Pall to Taggart. The two hit it off and the Chainsmokers was reformed.
The group, despite its long history did not perform well with Bixler as part of the duo. When Taggart joined the Chainsmokers the band took off and started released number one singles. Then their complete first album Memories…Do Not Open.
Much more success is on the horizons for Pall and Taggart as they have released several singles since the debut full length album. There will undoubtedly be more awards in store for the duo. Much of luck to the pair from New York who are making it big with electronic and dance music.
